The Falkland Islands

An archipelago of 776 islands, 480 kms east Argentina in the Atlantic Ocean, on the Patagonia Shelf.

These Islands are home to some amazing wildlife including Albatross, who nest on cliff faces in seemingly impossible places!

The lichens and mosses are beautiful, and bring colour to the hills and rocks that is hard to describe. Vegetation is small and tough, little leaves and stunted growth making for interesting shapes and patterns.
